Playing in Dirt

I read this post about terrariums this morning and left a comment about my black thumb with houseplants.  She was kind enough to send me some words of encouragement.  She told me to start with pretty weeds.  What a fabulous idea!  Weeds grow in the worst of conditions, I should be able to handle that!  I grabbed a couple jars and cut quick circles of scrap fabric.  I had short pieces of edging lace and ribbon, and after 5 minutes on the machine...Voila!!!!!

The tall jar is a little less crowded.

It is also perfect for holding a few pins in another room, instead of ugly little tomatoes lying around.

Now it's just a matter of watching them grow...hopefully!
