Green Everywhere!

It has been storming all night and now, in between sprinkles, a quick picture of the garden. Everything shows up against the wet soil and you can see better how things are coming along with it. The corn is just above my ankle, so I think it will be "knee high by July"! I am so excited. We drove by some corn fields yesterday and they made my corn look a little wimpy, but I will persevere...LOL!
The green patch in the front corner is the Early Baby Spinach. I harvested 8 quart sized bags from that little patch. I will be tilling it under this weekend and moving a few sweet potatoes into the area.

Have a fabulous weekend!

I spent my morning yesterday picking corn in my brother in law's field and the rest of the day putting it up. (We harvest earlier here.) It's a lot of work, but it is so sweet and yummy! Totally worthwhile.

Oh I love spinach! It is great with bacon in Alfredo sauce over pasta :)
