Warm Ears

I cut the neck from a turtleneck sweater, sewed around the edge to keep it from unraveling, and pinned a hair flower to it.

Instant fashion!

Dishcloths, Dishcloths, Dishcloths Everywhere!

What to do when everyone is sick (including me) and I have lots of time on my hands?
Crochet dishcloths!

I found this site for lots of different dishcloths and they are fun and fast to work up.  I will have lots of new and pretty dishcloths for myself.  I was thinking of making kitchen gift baskets for Christmas and this will be an easy part of getting them put together.

Plenty of yarn waiting to become something beautiful!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The First Snow

The first snow of this season begins a new chapter in life here at the House of Crazy. I am looking forward to documenting the changes here for many reasons, but mainly perspective and accountability. Here is the first day of the rest of our lives.

I cut 8 inches off my hair and I am just getting over the first very nasty cold of the season.

May all you days be new with grace!

It's Been A Long Winter

It was a long, hard winter for my family. We are starting to recover and I wanted to do a quick post of some projects I have gotten finished. I hope Spring has brought beauty and health and happiness to everyone's family.

Sewing

My knitting and crocheting is improving, slowly.

 Homemade Cashew Butter

Year 3 for this Columbine, it is bigger each Spring.

This year's garden is planted and growing.
