Guess Who's Coming to Dinner!

I looked out my kitchen window and what did I see?

  Paulie!

 Inspecting the garden plot...

 Likes the extension...

Heading back to his hole for a nap while I get ready to plant spinach for his dining pleasure!

He's going to eat well this year...Grrr!
I think I will have to trellis the sweet potatoes and maybe fence off some of my broccoli, so we can enjoy it,too.

Seeds!

We have been doing this...

As you can see, Hubby added a whole other piece of ground for me to play with this year.

And look what showed up in the mail!

There are spinach seeds in here that will be in the ground this weekend.

Happy Spring Everyone!

Kirk Cameron!

If you see nothing else with your children (9 and over) this year, you need to see "Monumental"! We went to the movie last night and were blown away by the lost American history he found and followed. If it isn't playing near you, demand it of your theater or order the DVD. Go HERE and find out how, when, where and what has been taken from us and the way to get it back!

Showing My Age!

Is it just me or does this bring forth thoughts of the Bay City Rollers?
Have a fun and happy week!

My First Online Fabric Purchase

Friday I was cruisin' the online fabric stores.  I stopped by Green Fairy Quilts and fell in love with the Friendship by Howard Marcus.  Hubby had taken the day off and was watching me go back and forth between pages, yet always coming back to the Friendship layer cake.  I left the page open when I went to make another pot of coffee and when I came back...I had an order confirmation page.  I was a little unsure of ordering online because I am a fabric toucher.  With Joann's 3 blocks away, I have taken fabric touching to an Olympic Event.

I am sooooooo happy with this order!  It arrived from across the country in no time and wrapped in plastic (good thing because my mailbox looks like a waterfall, today).

The fabric feels divine and the colors are better than my phone can show you.  I really need to work on a light box.

Thank you Green Fairy Quilts! I will definitely shop with you again!

Super Mail!

A few weeks ago I popped over to the Jolly Jabber and I managed to win these 4 fabulous Pat Sloan patterns! They came in the mail on the same day I came down with a horrible head cold. I wanted to get this posted and today was the first day I could see the keys to type. Please stop by the Fat Quarter Shop and give them some love!

These are going to motivate me to clean up and organize my sewing room, so I can get them made and hanging.
