After a couple intense books ( Genesis, Exodus) and an intense Ohio winter, I am happy to have 24 rows finished. This has turned out to be an exercise in patience. I have more of a sense of empathy for the long journey without seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. It was difficult to read what sometimes comes off as chaotic stereo instructions, but as I hunkered down and stuck with it, I realized God had to be very specific because these people had strayed so far from his instructions. It really was like having young children.
